My Story

 I am An’Drea Marie, the proud Founder and Executive Director of Choszen Donations Inc. Born in Beloit, Wisconsin, grew up in South Beloit, Illinois, and graduated from South Beloit Sr. High School. My career path began at age 16 when I started working at a nursing home as a dietary aide. Over time, I progressed from a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and now I am a successful Registered Nurse (RN). Caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am. With over 30  years in the medical field, I've dedicated my life to helping families and individuals in need.

Choszen Donations grew out of my love for shopping, and not wanting to donate our clothing to retail shops. I struggled with not knowing what to do with the clothes, as I didn't want them sold. I turned to my higher power for guidance and that's how Choszen Donations came to life. 

I have been the primary financial supporter of Choszen Donations Inc. While we do receive community donations, my belief in our organization’s mission drives my commitment.

Our mission at Choszen Donations, Inc. is to answer the higher calling of God to show love by providing new and gently used clothing and essential hygiene items to all people in need, regardless of their background, income, or circumstance. We believe everyone deserves access to basic necessities, and our goal is to reduce the burdens of poverty and promote dignity and self-worth through our services here.

Together, we are building a place where families and individuals can find help, hope and a sense of community.
